At Little Friend Pet Care, we specialize in delivering professional and dependable dog walking and drop-in pet sitting services for dogs and cats for a small service area in Pawtucket and the East Side of Providence, RI (see "Service Area" at the bottom of this page for a list & map of neighborhoods).

Our business is insured, bonded and certified in Pet First Aid/CPR. We have over 25 years of expertise owning and caring for dogs and cats of all sizes.

Our dedication stems from a lifelong passion for animals, and we eagerly anticipate each visit with our beloved "little friends"!
our story
Hi there!

I'm Lauren, an animal lover and full-time artist living in the Providence, RI area. I moved to RI in 2021 with my beloved soul dog and best "little friend" - my puggle Josie, who filled my life with love and joy for 15.5 amazing years.
​​
​In September 2023, Josie sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge quite suddenly and unexpectedly. I quickly missed being around animals every day and deeply wanted to pay forward the lessons of kindness, compassion, loyalty, and friendship I learned from her as my companion animal. Several months after she transitioned, I started my own pet care business in Josie's memory to help care for neighbors' pets while they were away from home.

I have plenty of time to give your pets the love and attention they deserve, as I service a small area of South Pawtucket and Providence's East Side (see "Service Area" at bottom of this page for a list & map of neighborhoods). Taking care of neighbors' pets has been a healing and rewarding experience for me, and I look forward to seeing my little friends at every visit.
